Job Summary
Senior DevSecOps Engineer to own the operational security foundation of Crossmint's cloud and developer pipelines. You will secure AWS environments (IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, KMS) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, secrets scanning, dependency management), perform secure code reviews, assess authentication flows and API security, manage vulnerability remediation and incident response, and support SOC 2 and ISO 27001/DORA/MiCA compliance efforts. This role collaborates with Engineering and IT & Infrastructure to embed security practices throughout the development lifecycle, design and monitor security controls, and maintain auditable security processes in a hybrid NYC or Miami office environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience as a security engineer
- 3+ years of hands-on experience securing AWS environments (IAM, Security Hub, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, KMS)
- Strong practical knowledge of CI/CD security (GitHub Actions, secrets scanning, dependency management)
- Experience with secure code review or core application security concepts (OWASP, auth flows, API security)
- Experience in at least one compliance framework, SOC 2 preferred, ISO 27001 or similar acceptable
- Fluent communicator across technical teams
- Self-directed and organized
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for security automation or research
