Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer to join an agile engineering team responsible for modernizing and migrating legacy on-prem Windows infrastructure into AWS-based cloud-native environments. You will automate CI/CD pipelines, define Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, deploy applications across development, testing, and production, and ensure reliability, security, and observability. The role focuses on migrating Windows Servers (2012 & 2022), Windows Services, and IIS workloads, supporting .NET applications, and integrating Bitbucket Pipelines for CI/CD. You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams in a flat, autonomous, collaboratively-minded structure, with opportunities to contribute to platform improvements, documentation, and technical decision-making. The position is fully remote (LATAM) with a 6-month contract and emphasizes ownership across the DevOps lifecycle, AWS-based tooling (Lambda, ECS, ECR), and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering in software organizations
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud migration projects
- Mandatory strong experience in Windows System Administration
- Hands-on expertise with Windows Servers (2012 & 2022), Windows Services, and IIS
- Experience deploying .NET-based applications
- Advanced PowerShell scripting experience
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Bitbucket Pipelines
- Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Solid knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Practical experience with containerization, especially Docker
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation
