Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer needed to build and operate automated build and deployment infrastructure in GitLab CI/CD and Atlantis, maintain Kubernetes clusters, and package software with Helm while using Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP). You will own end-to-end technical problems, support software engineering teams in pipeline integrations, and ensure deployments seamlessly integrate with third-party platforms. The role includes remote work with mandatory on-site travel to a secure facility in Northern Colorado Springs, CO for classified work, and mentoring junior engineers. Strong Python or Go, and Ansible experience are required, along with a track record of self-directed learning, excellent communication, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Compensation ranges from $160,000 to $185,000 base salary, with meaningful equity, profit sharing, and comprehensive benefits. Clearance eligibility and ITAR compliance are required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressively responsible software engineering experience in a DevOps role
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) in production
- Strong experience with Python or Go
- Strong experience with Ansible automation
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with end-users
- Experience maintaining Kubernetes clusters in production
- Experience packaging software into Helm charts
- Terraform experience for cloud infrastructure
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tooling
Additional Requirements
- U.S. citizen or national, or eligible to obtain required authorizations under ITAR for access to classified work
- Security clearance eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
