Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain a cloud-based, scalable, and secure infrastructure. You will own end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment, collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and compliant (HIPAA/GDPR), maintain CI/CD pipelines (reproducible and secure), operate in an on-call capacity, and drive improvements through exploration of new technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in DevOps or equivalent
- BS or advanced degree in computer science or related field
- Experience deploying and monitoring web applications in AWS
- Experience with container-based infrastructure and Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform a plus)
- CI/CD tooling experience (CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
- Security-focused mindset with secure development and release practices
- Experience with regulated environments (HIPAA, GDPR preferred)
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (Redis, Redshift, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Strong scripting skills (Shell, Perl, Ruby, Python, Go, Groovy)
- Experience with monitoring, logging, load balancing, and reliability
- On-call PagerDuty rotations
