Job Summary
Build and operate internal infrastructure supporting engineers, services, and customers while designing cloud environments focused on security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Own CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tooling using Terraform to automate deployment, testing, and release processes. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management, then implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure application reliability. Respond to production incidents, contribute to blameless postmortems, and continuously improve system reliability by designing new tools that enhance efficiency and scalability. Collaborate across engineering, product, and internal teams to ship high-impact projects and provide infrastructure expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Infrastructure engineer with experience developing robust and scalable solutions
- Expert when it comes to Infrastructure As Code, CI/CD, and other modern tooling to accelerate engineering processes
- Proficient in tooling for these (such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Experience working with them in an enterprise setting
- Strong foundational knowledge in cloud infrastructure engineering
- Experience adhering to industry best practices
- Confident implementing security measures to protect data integrity and prevent vulnerabilities
- Experience in identifying and responding to complex incidents
- Experience with customer infrastructure
- Comfortable communicating with technical teams and leadership
- Ability to collect requirements
- Ability to describe software product features
- Ability to describe technical designs
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Ability to quickly develop hypotheses with limited information
- Demonstrated ability to learn complex concepts quickly
- Ability to drive tasks independently
- Proactive ability to reach out for help and additional resources when needed
