Job Summary
Migrate LogicMonitor's datacenter applications to AWS cloud environments and establish scalable, production-grade infrastructure. Design, deploy new infrastructures, and write code to automate infrastructure maintenance and deployments. Maintain uptime of the SaaS-based service while driving technical enhancements to improve reliability. Collaborate with developers and data teams to support architectural changes and execute large, complex projects across teams. Lead by example through thorough documentation and runbooks to ensure operational excellence in hybrid and cloud-native environments.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, MSK CloudFormation/Terraform)
- Experience with datacenter-to-cloud migration methodologies (re-host, re-platform, re-architect)
- Virtualisation and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Programming and scripting (python/shell/go)
- Networking fundamentals — VPN, Direct Connect, DNS, load balancing for hybrid cloud connectivity
- Service Oriented Architecture and High Availability systems
- Strong knowledge of security requirements as related to linux systems, applications, and networking
