Job Summary
Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure for production control software in wire harness manufacturing. Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps while automating infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm on hybrid Azure and on-premises environments. Monitor application and infrastructure performance with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack, and troubleshoot production issues through root cause analysis. Collaborate with development, QA, security, and IT teams to improve deployment strategies and release automation. Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-availability architecture while implementing DevSecOps practices and security best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering
- Hands-on experience with hybrid application ecosystems (Azure cloud and on-premises)
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with source code management tools such as Git
- Strong networking expertise with a solid understanding of DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS, VPNs, and firewalls across both cloud and on-premises environments
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Datadog
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, secrets management, and security automation
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in manufacturing, industrial automation, or engineering organizations
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security and policy management
- Experience implementing SRE practices, SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
- Azure cloud certifications are preferred
