Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer to join a distributed team spanning multiple locations globally, focusing on Azure-based Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift, AKS) and a breadth of DevOps practices to deliver and evolve infrastructure at scale. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and operating Kubernetes workloads, implementing GitOps workflows, maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Terraform IaC, ensuring security by default, driving observability and reliability (SLOs/SLIs, post-mortems), and mentoring engineers while contributing to architecture decisions and runbooks.
Required Qualifications
- BTech/MTech/MCA or equivalent
- 10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
- Deep Kubernetes expertise including Redhat OpenShift or AKS
- Hands-on Terraform for infrastructure as code
- ArgoCD for GitOps deployments
- Strong Azure platform knowledge (networking, IAM, cost management)
- Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
- Security practices (secrets management, policy enforcement)
- Mentorship capability and collaboration across distributed teams
- Experience migrating workloads to Kubernetes or managing on-prem Kubernetes
- Familiarity with containerization and modernization
- AWS or multi-cloud experience
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS)
- Hubbell Incorporated context familiarity
