Job Summary
Design, maintain, and optimize AWS-based infrastructure including EKS, EC2, S3, and RDS while managing architecture, billing, and reserved instances. Perform upgrades and patching for core systems like ElasticSearch and Postgres, manage automated scaling scripts, and monitor performance to resolve traffic spikes and bottlenecks. Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, configure AWS ALB traffic routing with OIDC, and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures. Support SSO, SCIM integrations, and security assessments to improve cloud security practices. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support ongoing infrastructure initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudFront)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Terraform or similar tools
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog)
- Understanding networking, authentication, and security best practices
- Experience with Postgres, MySQL, and SQL Server databases
- Familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell)
- Knowledge of RabbitMQ and Redis
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Cloudflare
- Knowledge of data privacy and PII protection
- Experience in high-scale environments
