Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps engineer at Copper responsible for building a fault-tolerant, geographically distributed infrastructure, deploying services with strict availability requirements, and maintaining scalable, self-service infrastructure and blockchain platforms. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible, collaborating with Backend Engineering to improve resilience, enhancing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), provisioning and managing blockchain nodes (>25 layer 1 protocols), on-call 24/7 availability, and ensuring security and performance of distributed systems. Skills include Terraform/CloudFormation, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD, networking fundamentals (VPCs, load balancing, DNS, firewalls), IAM and secrets management, and proficiency in at least one language (bash, Python, Go). Desirable experience within crypto and financial services. Hybrid working model in London with offices in the UK; collaborative, scalable, and secure infrastructure emphasis across data centers and blockchain environments.
