Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud + AI Infrastructure)

Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for designing and operating scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, leading infrastructure-as-code initiatives, and advancing CI/CD automation. You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, develop Terraform modules, drive automation across environments, monitor and ensure reliability, lead incident response and root-cause analysis, enforce cloud security best practices, mentor teammates, and stay current with cloud, DevOps, and automation trends. Strong emphasis on collaboration with engineering, QA, and architecture teams, and delivering reliable, scalable cloud-native systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering, including senior-level responsibilities
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture and services
- Deep experience with Terraform, including modules, state management, and automation
- Proven experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools, particularly Claude Code and the Claude Agent SDK, is strongly preferred
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
- Terraform certification
- Experience designing and implementing AI agents using the Claude Agent SDK and MCP for DevOps automation and infrastructure orchestration
- Experience with additional infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Pulumi
- Exposure to AI-assisted development or automation tools
- Experience building and supporting large-scale production systems
