Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for designing and improving cloud architectures, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure systems that support large-scale applications across multiple cloud environments. Collaborate with engineering, product, and internal platform teams to ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence. Drive engineering best practices, contribute to architecture decisions, and participate in production support through on-call rotations. Remote contractor position (1 year with potential renewal); work schedule aligned with U.S. time zones; contractor must use their own laptop; English level B2/C1/C2. Location constraint: Brazil.
Required Qualifications
- Must Have
- 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Linux container tools
- 4+ years of experience with CI/CD and GitOps workflows/tooling
- 3+ years of experience with Python and Python web development
- Experience leading projects and designing complex technical architecture
- Experience operating production services on cloud infrastructure
- Strong Computer Science foundations
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
