Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure for a fast-growing applied AI and data analytics platform. Architect, build, and maintain cloud systems, lead transition of infrastructure leadership from the current DevOps lead, and drive reliability, security, and scalability. Hands-on, high-ownership role collaborating with backend and ML engineers; develop IaC (Terraform/Terragrunt) on AWS, implement GitOps, define reliability targets, automate manual processes, own production incidents end-to-end, and mentor teammates while potentially growing the DevOps team. Requires 4–7+ years in DevOps/infrastructure with strong AWS production experience, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform/Terragrunt, Python/Bash, and CI/CD expertise.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7+ years of industry experience in DevOps/infrastructure roles
- 4+ years managing cloud infrastructure in production — AWS strongly preferred
- 2+ years of production Kubernetes experience (EKS preferred)
- Deep proficiency in Terraform/Terragrunt and infrastructure-as-code principles
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
- Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
