Job Summary
Senior DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure and software delivery pipelines. Build and automate infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, Ansible), design and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), and implement security controls throughout the SDLC (Shift-Left). Monitor systems, respond to incidents, and continuously improve observability, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain clear documentation. Remote work possible within GMT-7 to GMT+4 timezones; distributed team across the U.S. and Europe, with Barcelona as a referenced location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or related roles
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Solid knowledge of security principles and best practices
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English
- Preferred certifications (AWS DevOps, CK A, CISSP) and familiarity with SOC2/GDPR/HIPAA/PCI DSS are listed as preferences
