Job Summary
Senior DevOps Architect leads hands-on DevOps, SRE, and modern infrastructure initiatives to design scalable, secure platforms that accelerate software delivery. The role focuses on automation, IaC, cloud-native modernization, and cost optimization, and requires deep expertise across cloud (AWS/Azure), Terraform/Ansible, CI/CD, Kubernetes, microservices, security in the SDLC, and strong scripting. Oversees cross-functional architecture discussions, produces technical guidance and documentation, and partners with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to enable reliable production delivery. 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering and relevant cloud certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years hands-on experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure
- 10+ years implementing DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering practices
- Strong cloud architecture experience (AWS and/or Azure)
- Relevant cloud certification (AWS or Azure)
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD platforms (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools
- Broad knowledge of compute, storage, networking, security, and virtualization
- Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with distributed systems, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices
- Strong understanding of security principles integrated into SDLC
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic/tactical execution abilities
- Experience driving DevOps/SRE transformations to improve velocity and reliability
