Job Summary
The Senior Development Manager – Industrial will oversee the full development lifecycle for industrial projects, including site assessments, entitlement processes, design management, and construction oversight. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, collaborating with stakeholders, negotiating contracts, and ensuring project compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial analysis, and technical expertise in construction management. A bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Real Estate Development, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in industrial development and construction required.
- Technical proficiency in industrial architecture, engineering, and site/building construction required.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of municipal processes, including plan reviews, permitting, and document processing.
- Proven track record in ground-up development, including both Class A speculative and build-to-suit industrial projects.
- Experience in project management with a general contractor or owner’s representative strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience in preparing, negotiating, and reviewing contractor and consultant proposals, agreements, and contracts.
Additional Requirements
- Applicants should have a minimum of five years’ experience managing construction projects if education is in engineering, architecture or real estate development.
