Job Summary
Refine requirements in sessions, write clean, performant, and scalable code with automated tests, and guide junior developers on best software development practices. Build CI/CD pipelines, enable telemetry capture, and contribute to enhancing team standards and improving processes while designing high-volume messaging and REST-based middleware. Leverage seven years of experience in distributed event-based systems using microservice architecture, Spring Boot, and cloud principles to drive successful outcomes across software development, data analysis, testing, and stakeholder coordination.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in building distributed event-based systems applying agile practices
- Sound understanding of microservice architecture and design patterns, system resiliency, scalability, security, and observability
- Strong working knowledge of core Java, Spring-boot, and other Spring framework features
- Experience with designing and implementing high volume messaging- and rest- based middleware
- Experience with defining scalable database models (relational or others)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
- Familiarity with cloud-based development principles
- Fast learner and desire to constantly learn and improve
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or in a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Experience with Angular
- Familiarity with Kafka and Mongo DB
- Prior experience in FinTech application development
- Experience with working in a global delivery team
- Candidate with banking domain experience
