Job Summary
Define and evolve reference CI architectures for GitHub Actions across Product Engineering, focusing on job decomposition, caching strategies, and test partitioning. Partner with teams to redesign slow pipelines and improve developer experience by making failures easier to diagnose and building reusable tooling abstractions. Drive application-layer performance optimization through build strategies, dependency management, and observability-led action loops to reduce pipeline times and flake rates. Lead time-boxed engagements with measurable outcomes, collaborating closely with CI Platform and product engineering teams to enforce secure defaults and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Experience designing or evolving CI/CD pipelines
- GitHub Actions experience
- Hands-on ability to improve build and test performance
- Deep familiarity with multi-platform build/test (macOS, Windows, Linux)
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with demonstrated systems thinking
