Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and RESTful APIs within Microsoft Azure using C# and .NET. Build services with Azure Functions and App Service, manage APIs via Azure API Management, and integrate enterprise systems using secure authentication and RBAC. Apply engineering practices including Git, automated testing, and CI/CD to deliver production-ready solutions alongside DevOps and security teams. Support live services and troubleshoot application and integration issues. This hands-on role involves end-to-end delivery from requirements through testing to production for complex client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Azure application development experience
- Strong C# and .NET development skills or equivalent
- Proven experience designing and delivering APIs in production
- Experience with Azure API Management and RESTful API design
- Experience with Azure Functions, App Service and Azure integration services
- Good understanding of API security, authentication and authorisation
- Experience with Git, automated testing and Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or Bicep
- Strong problem solving, communication and stakeholder skills
- A collaborative approach and confidence working in client driven environments
- Eligible and willing to undertake BPSS and obtain UK Security Clearance where required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within enterprise, public sector or regulated environments
- Existing SC clearance
