Job Summary
Design, develop, enhance, and support Java-based MES applications and integrations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with business objectives. Own complex technical deliverables from requirements analysis through implementation, validation, deployment, and production support. Write high-quality, maintainable code using Java, SQL, and enterprise tools while troubleshooting issues impacting manufacturing operations and data integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions, lead architecture discussions, and provide technical mentorship. Identify optimization opportunities and establish development standards across the team. Requires 4–6 years of MES experience, strong Java proficiency, and Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)
- 4–6 years of directly related experience in software engineering, enterprise application development, or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Professional experience as a Java Developer, with strong ownership of enterprise application development and support
- Hands-on experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency in Java programming, SQL databases, debugging, and application troubleshooting
- Experience with NetBeans IDE or similar Java development environments
- Experience with Pnuts scripting or similar scripting languages used in MES environments
