Job Summary
Lead Azure integration and API development projects, managing .NET and Terraform pipelines while enforcing strict DevOps governance and security standards. Serve as the primary Platform SME for enterprise clients, bridging technical ambiguity with direct customer engagement and delivery management tasks. Mentor a small team of support members, driving API design documentation and operational excellence across BAU and enhancement initiatives. Maintain Five Eyes clearance for NZ-based work, balancing self-managed project delivery with occasional on-call rotation to ensure continuous system availability.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Azure Integration Platform Experience
- Azure Front Door
- Azure API Manager
- Function Apps / Logic Apps
- ServiceBus
- App Insights
- Azure B2C
- EntraID (specifically on External-ID)
- Understanding of B2C being replaced by EntraID and its current limitations
- Core functionality of Azure B2C
- Custom policies in Azure B2C
- Differences and implementation of SAML vs OIDC identity integrations
- API Development practices (best practices associated developing an API)
- API Security and authentication
- Certificates (mTLS, B2C signing certs etc)
- .NET
- DevOps capability to diagnose, fix and run Terraform & ARM Pipelines
- Ability to work in a DevOps World
- Five Eyes Approved
- NZ based with Five Eyes Clearance
- Ability to be customer facing
- Ability to engage with customers directly for Projects
- Ability to engage with customers on technical operational issues where ambiguity is always happening
- Experience as a mentor and team leader
- Experience leading a small team of support members with limited skills
- Capability as a Platform SME (technically and business capable)
- Dev Governance skills to define & enforce standards
- Strong written communication
- Ability to perform small delivery manager functions
- Ability to write well thought out API Design Docs
- Self managed
- Good time management skills
