Job Summary
Senior Desktop Engineer responsible for designing and implementing systems and integrations that support the global IT operations of a leading logistics provider. Collaborate with stakeholders across Air, Sea, Road, and Contract Logistics to refine requirements and streamline processes for the daily movement of goods. Operate and monitor built solutions, providing third-level support to ensure high availability and reliable performance. Create and maintain documentation for operational teams and end users. Proficient in C#/.NET desktop development (WinForms/WPF), with experience in relational databases and Java Spring Boot/Quarkus advantageous. Expect flexible working hours and mobile working arrangements in Portugal, with a focus on helping deliver critical IT solutions that enable global logistics operations.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge
- 6+ years of professional experience
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET
- Proven experience with WinForms and/or WPF; DevExpress experience is a plus
- Relational database programming
- Java with Spring Boot/Quarkus advantageous
- Broad technical flexibility including networking and UI/UX principles
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
