Job Summary
Manage and resolve complex technical issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, leading projects or teams with minimal supervision. Oversee system deployment, maintenance, and optimization for large-scale installations, while supervising junior and intermediate engineers. Drive strategic IT decisions through advanced troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network infrastructures, and document system performance for stakeholders. Lead desktop upgrades and other IT initiatives, mentoring staff and communicating effectively with clients and internal teams. This 8-month contract requires extensive expertise in enterprise-level security protocols and project management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive technical expertise in desktop support, systems administration, and troubleshooting, covering a wide range of hardware, software, and network environments.
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and expertise in enterprise-level IT infrastructure, security protocols, and advanced troubleshooting.
- The ability to manage and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision, often leading projects or teams.
- Leadership experience, potentially supervising junior and intermediate engineers, mentoring staff, and contributing to strategic IT decisions.
- Experience in system deployment, maintenance, and optimization, including large-scale installations and configurations across multiple systems.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, as well as the ability to document and report on system performance and issues.
- Project management skills to oversee IT initiatives, desktop upgrades, and other tech projects.
