Job Summary
Transform technical requirements into functional designs and precise 3D CAD models, integrating industrial design concepts and creating detailed drawings and product documentation. Support engineers by generating design solutions for technical challenges, conducting mechanism analysis, and evaluating prototypes to guide design decisions. Mentor new designers, communicate with the team to ensure manufacturability, and build organizational CAD standards. This role requires a technical Associate Degree, 7 years of experience, and proficiency in Siemens NX or similar 3D CAD software. Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Senior Designer balances complex projects while working in an office environment with up to 5% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Associate Degree
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing, drafting and computer modeling and related technical assignments
- Siemens NX or similar 3D CAD software experience
