Senior Designer

Senior Designer to shape Snapchat’s visual identity across key marketing and brand touchpoints. You’ll act as a maker-first IC, designing across brand systems, typography, color, layout, and component libraries, and leading important projects end-to-end. You’ll provide art direction, translate briefs into clear visual concepts, and partner with Brand Strategy, Marketing, Global Brand Experience, Media, and Channel Marketing to drive cohesive visual stories. Responsibilities include maintaining and evolving the brand design system, creating practical guidelines and templates, developing visual territories across formats (OOH, social, email, web, presentations), and mentoring junior designers. Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud) and experience integrating AI into design workflows while maintaining taste and originality. You should be fluent in presenting to senior stakeholders, framing context and tradeoffs, and ensuring outputs are scalable and high-quality. 8+ years of experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity and systems work are required. The company emphasizes a collaborative, matrixed environment and a “default together” approach, with expectations to work in-office 4+ days per week.
