Job Summary
Design and develop instrumentation systems for water, wastewater, and desalination projects using Revit and Plant 3D. Create and modify technical drawings and models based on verbal and visual instructions from project managers and engineers; manage work-sets and control visibility in Revit/Plant 3D; integrate specifications into models; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; perform quality control checks; assist in developing instrumentation design standards; provide technical support and mentorship to junior designers; participate in client meetings and stay updated on trends; contribute to proposals and cost estimates; troubleshoot design issues; ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university
- 7 - 10 Years of experience in wastewater/water industry
- Working Experience using Revit and/or Plant 3D and AutoCAD for water market-related designs
- Drafting course from a recognised institute
- Working experience using REVIT, AutoCAD and Microstation
- Professional registration in their designated home office country or be in active pursuit of such registration
- Demonstrated proficiency in instrumentation design for water, wastewater, and desalination projects
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to water and wastewater instrumentation
- Experience with project management and coordination in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions
- Familiarity with equipment specifications and procurement processes for instrumentation systems
- Ability to mentor junior designers and contribute to team development
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
