Job Summary
The Senior Designer, Land Infrastructure will play a key technical role in project delivery, applying expertise in civil design and modeling to develop high-quality solutions including designing roads, carparks, drainage, and utility services. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing detailed civil design drawings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring designs meet client specifications and safety standards, conducting feasibility studies, mentoring junior designers, and supporting tender preparation. Candidates must have a relevant engineering qualification and at least 10 years of experience in civil design, along with proficiency in design software and strong technical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary Engineering qualification
- Minimum 10 years of design experience with a background and interest in roads, carparks, earthworks, drainage, utility services designs, pavement design
- Proven skills in design and documentation of civil infrastructure to ANZ standards or similar
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in industry design software including 12d, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering design standards and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a remote or multi-location team setting
