Job Summary
Lead design and oversee the full FF&E design and procurement process for residential, hospitality, and commercial projects, managing designers across multiple concurrent projects. Create inspirational concepts and schemes through mood imagery and sketches, then develop them into realistic designs with detailed joinery and construction specifications. Manage the design process to meet deadlines, analyze project scopes, and resolve issues regarding site constraints, budgets, and timelines while ensuring clients are fully aware of all design selections. Deliver confident presentations to gain client trust and relay comprehensive briefs to the team. Requires a recognized qualification in Interior Design or Architecture, extensive luxury project experience, and the ability to travel abroad.
Required Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Interior Design/Architecture
- Extensive experience in the successful delivery of luxury interior design projects, either luxury hospitality or high end residential, from concept to completion and all aspects of the full design process
- Excellent FF&E and Supplier knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of the construction process, fabrication and detailing
- Prior experience managing the design process and design team to ensure all deliverables and objectives are met
- Must be prepared to travel abroad
