Job Summary
Research trend directions, perform competitive analysis, and oversee fabric and design concept reviews to execute initial seasonal design categories. Create Illustrator sketches, approve specification sheets, and maintain design archives within the Product Lifecycle Management system. Select raw materials, approve lab dips, and oversee the fit process while managing relationships with internal production teams and external vendors. Monitor individual performance and contribute to team dynamics to drive business growth across handbag and accessories segments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design
- 5 - 8 years experience in handbag and accessories design
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, CAD and Mac computers
