Job Summary
Lead concepting, design, and execution of high-performing email campaigns aligned to seasonal strategies and 360° marketing initiatives. Concept and design compelling creative for marketing and transactional communications, ensuring brand consistency and responsiveness across devices. Manage and mentor the email design team through ideation, reviews, production, and final delivery while driving the creative pipeline. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and agency partners to develop conversion-driven templates and facilitate project kickoffs. Leverage performance insights and A/B testing to optimize engagement, conversion, and campaign effectiveness. Present creative to marketing and channel stakeholders, championing digital innovation and best practices in collaboration with Creative, E-commerce, and agency teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Art, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of design experience in an in-house retail or agency environment
- at least 3 years focused on email design
- prior leadership or management experience
- Strong digital portfolio showcasing excellence in email design, typography, layout, and dynamic or interactive content—preferably within a retail or consumer brand
- Deep understanding of email marketing best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, deliverability constraints, and performance optimization
- Expertise in UX/UI principles, design systems, and designing for desktop and mobile experiences
- Experience leveraging A/B testing and data insights to inform design decisions and improve performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Email Service Providers (ESPs), and CRM platforms
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and work effectively across cross-functional teams and leadership levels
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and solutions-oriented, with a positive approach to feedback and change
- Proficiency in Mac OS and common business tools (Excel, Google Workspace, PowerPoint)
