Job Summary
Develop mechanical SLDs, space plans, and equipment layouts for HVAC, fire suppression, and diesel fuel systems in large-scale data centers. Design routing for chilled water piping, airside ducting, trenches, and shafts while ensuring clash-free coordination with electrical, architectural, and structural disciplines. Interpret schematics and P&IDs to create constructible layouts for chillers, cooling towers, and mechanical rooms, preparing BOQs and technical specifications. Support site teams with shop drawings and maintain high-quality AutoCAD standards for installation feasibility and maintenance access.
Required Qualifications
- 5–15 years (Data Center / Mission-Critical preferred)
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering
- AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Location:- Chennai (Preferred) | Mumbai | Bangalore | Hyderabad | Gurgaon | Noida
Desired Qualifications
- Good to Have-Data Center project experience
- Knowledge of: Revit / BIM coordination
- CFD tools
- Familiarity with: ASHRAE, NFPA, ISHRAE
- Basic knowledge of Revit MEP (preferred)
- Familiarity with: HAP / Trace or similar tools (preferred)
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Willingness to learn and take technical guidance
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines
