Job Summary
Lead assignments spanning conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Provide strategic design leadership focusing on project organization, production, and execution while mentoring junior designers and collaborating with internal and external teams. Foster seamless partnerships with professional consultants and strategic partners to craft compelling visions for proposals and secure project opportunities. Embrace an inside-out and outside-in design philosophy, utilizing hand sketching and 3D tools to communicate iteratively with clients. Build and sustain strong client relationships while promoting an interdisciplinary approach to uphold design excellence. A Registered Architect with over 10 years of experience is required to guide projects from concept through completion in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Architect
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited university
- 10+ years of relevant architecture and design experience
- Strong ability to communicate and present design concepts and their rationales
- Skilled in addressing client needs, budget constraints, architectural opportunities, or challenges impacting design concepts
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and certifications
- Skilled in Revit, + SketchUp, Enscape, and/or other modeling software and Adobe Creative Suite
- Exceptional graphics and visualization skills to effectively convey design ideas
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with key stakeholders
