Job Summary
Design innovative, prefabricated interior environments using DIRTT's ICE® software by translating architectural drawings and client requirements into detailed manufacturing models, shop drawings, renderings, and construction documentation. Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle to coordinate designs, resolve challenges, and ensure successful execution. Apply commercial construction knowledge, building codes, and DIRTT design standards to create accurate, code-compliant, cost-effective solutions while performing quality reviews of drawings and technical documentation. Maintain DIRTT libraries and templates, recommend workflow efficiencies, and mentor junior designers to continuously improve design processes. Stay current on modular construction innovations to recommend creative, sustainable solutions that meet client goals and budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of commercial interior design, architecture, or prefabricated construction experience
- Experience reading and interpreting architectural plans and construction documents
- Strong proficiency with Revit, BIM workflows, and construction documentation
- Knowledge of commercial construction methods, building materials, and industry best practices
- Understanding of building codes and ADA requirements
- Valid Driver's License
