Job Summary
Lead and manage the design process for client projects, ensuring briefs are accurately understood and executed through active participation in kick-off meetings and review sessions. Create diverse digital and print assets, including static and animated content for social media, while leveraging tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and the AI platform Pencil Pro to streamline workflows. Collaborate closely with project managers and development teams to align on interactive design principles, technical possibilities, and brand guidelines. Interrogate briefs for clarification, manage project timelines and deadlines, and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule with high-quality output.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in English
- 5+ years of experience in a senior design role, preferably within an agency or similar environment
- Ability to follow design processes, confidentiality protocols, and file organization standards
- Strong innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign Illustrator and After Effects)
- Solid understanding of design principles and typography
- Knowledgeable about digital design principles and how to apply them across multiple formats and platforms
- Familiar with brand guidelines
- Strong ability to combine speed and technique to produce high-quality assets efficiently, even at scale
- Creative problem solver with the ability to contribute strategically and think outside the box
- Skilled in quality control (QC) for your own work
- Up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and emerging technologies
- Able to export and optimize assets to meet platform specifications and best practices
- Capable of annotating files and providing supporting documentation when necessary
- Unafraid to raise concerns and suggest improvements to the team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leveraging the AI platform Pencil Pro
- Demonstrated proficiency in Motion Graphics and Video Editing, utilizing tools such as Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience creating static and animated digital content for social media
