Job Summary
Senior Design Manager in Torrance, CA leads and mentors an in-house creative team across ecommerce, retail, digital marketing, trade marketing, and brand initiatives. Responsible for visual storytelling, brand consistency, and high-quality creative execution across consumer-facing channels, while partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Ecommerce, Sales, Product Development, and Leadership to support product launches and retailer initiatives. This role emphasizes developing scalable creative processes, managing workflows, and leveraging tools to improve efficiency in a fast-paced environment. In-office position based in Torrance, California.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field
- 7-10 years of experience in graphic design, brand design, creative marketing, or related creative roles
- 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring creative teams
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand development, typography, layout, visual storytelling, and multi-channel campaign execution
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
- Experience supporting ecommerce, retail, and consumer product marketing initiatives
- Strong understanding of print production, digital content development, and production workflows
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Experience with motion graphics, photography direction, video editing, or AI-powered creative tools is a plus
