Senior Design Engineer

Job Summary
Execute electrical design deliverables for paper industry projects, from initial engineering specifications through site commissioning. Apply initial engineering information including contract requirements and technical specifications, ensuring correct implementation and monitoring task progress against the schedule. Perform engineering work in accordance with defined QA plans, reporting quality deviations and risks timely while maintaining ISO standards. Participate in installation supervision, FAT, and site service activities, identifying issues, analyzing problems, and proposing solutions until closure. Guide junior engineers, share knowledge, and continuously improve design quality based on customer feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- More than 5 years of experience in paper industry engineering or related fields
- Good knowledge of Valmet products within the area of responsibility
- Good command of English for daily work communication in an international environment
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and relevant engineering systems and tools used in Valmet
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve engineering problems independently
