Job Summary
Senior Design Engineer, Structural leading structural design and analysis for civil infrastructure and Defence-related projects. Develop concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for reinforced concrete and structural steel elements with a focus on constructability and lifecycle performance. Conduct site inspections including work in confined spaces and at heights to assess structural conditions and support construction teams. Contribute to asset condition assessments, structural integrity reviews, and maintenance planning to enhance infrastructure resilience. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions and ensure technical excellence across calculations, documentation, specifications, and reporting in accordance with Australian Standards. Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proven experience in large infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and construction methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Willingness to travel
