Senior Design Engineer

Plan, organize, and direct projects from concept through design, prototype, manufacturing, and commissioning while ensuring work meets internal quality standards and customer specifications. Develop and optimize internally manufactured equipment by analyzing design and mechanical systems to improve quality and efficiency. Create high-standard manufacturing drawings, detailed written work instructions, and 3D or 2D models for presentation, manufacture, and marketing. Investigate mechanical failures to recommend corrective actions and actively participate in continuous quality improvement and lean manufacturing strategies. Requires a 4-year engineering degree or 5+ years of experience in the recycling and materials handling industry, proficiency in MS Office, and essential 3D CAD skills.
