Senior Design Engineer

Job Summary
Coordinate all product development activities, including new product development and product improvements. Engineer innovative design concepts utilizing CAD tools, perform redesigns to improve manufacturability and reduce costs, and initiate ECNs for product modifications. Analyze QA warranty data to identify improvement areas, oversee testing and auditing of new products, and support manufacturing during the hand-off. Update BOMs within ERP software and ensure accuracy of controlled drawings. This individual contributor role requires occasional travel and involves working in an office and inside production environment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 7+ years of product design experience
- Skilled in spreadsheets and Microsoft Office
- Skilled in ERP Software and File Management
- Skilled in 3D CAD
- Skilled in advanced mathematics
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret spreadsheets
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to write, speak, and comprehend English
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Occasional travel
