Job Summary
Senior Design Engineer – Battery NPD lead and technical resource for battery development. Drive design and development of battery components for cordless tools in a fast-paced environment. Communicate engineering decisions to Project Leaders and Global Engineering teams, facilitate cross-functional trade-offs, and mentor others. Manage multiple mid-to-high complexity projects, develop and maintain build/test plans, and provide technical consultation. Required: BS in Mechanical Engineering, 5 years of design experience, strong 3D CAD (ProE/SolidWorks/NX), experience with lithium-ion battery cores and power routing, and manufacturing processes (injection molding, stamping, plating). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of design experience
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (ProE, SolidWorks, NX)
- Experience designing lithium-ion battery cores and power routing
- Experience with manufacturing processes (injection molding, stamping, plating)
