Senior Design Engineer 1

Senior Design Engineer to lead design, development, integration, and verification of advanced mechanical systems and weapon subsystems. Key duties include performing design evaluations, tolerance analyses, and functional analyses; procuring, assembling, and testing prototypes; preparing and presenting designs at design reviews; developing hardware requirements; collaborating with modeling/simulation, systems engineering, test, and manufacturing teams; mentoring junior engineers and cross-training other engineering fields. Required qualifications include U.S. citizenship, a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 10+ years of related experience, CAD proficiency, active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI, and the ability to work in an agile, cross-functional environment.
