Job Summary
Senior Design Consultant (UX/UI) responsible for transforming complex challenges into intuitive digital solutions, leading UX design, process analysis, user journeys, wireframes, and high-quality interfaces for web and mobile applications. Works within a multidisciplinary innovation and design team to translate business insights into coherent user experiences, leveraging design thinking, wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design. Collaborates cross-functionally with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders; ensures accessibility and inclusive design; develops or works with design systems, UI kits, and component libraries; participates in discovery, validates concepts with stakeholders, and supports delivery through handoff to development. Requires 2+ years of UX/UI design experience, strong tool proficiency (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.), portfolio of digital design projects, and experience in agile environments; preference for Financial Services domain experience and consultancy background.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of UX/UI design experience for digital products (web/mobile)
- Proven ability to translate business insights and user needs into coherent, valuable experiences
- Solid proficiency in visual design tools: Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD (and/or Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Knowledge of design thinking, UX processes, and user-centered design methods
- Experience creating wireframes and prototypes at varying fidelities
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysis, dev, design) and with clients
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative mindset
- Experience in agile/Scrum environments and design sprints
- Portfolio demonstrating product, service, or experience design with business context
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- Knowledge of basic software development processes and collaboration with tech teams
