Job Summary
Senior Deployment Engineer leads deployment, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and operational readiness of Armada’s modular data center infrastructure across domestic and international environments. Serves as the senior technical field resource during deployment execution, independently drives deployment plans, commissioning procedures, and infrastructure validation; conducts site assessments; ensures operational readiness, safety, and adherence to engineering standards; leads root cause analysis across electrical, mechanical, BAS/controls, and networking systems; interprets electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control diagrams; drives corrective actions and reliability improvements; leads BMS/EPMS/DCIM integration and validation; defines infrastructure validation procedures; supports incident response and operational continuity; provides cross-functional technical leadership and coordinates with vendors, subcontractors, and field service partners; acts as a trusted technical advisor during deployment planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure, modular data centers, field engineering, or critical facilities operations
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and deployment activities within complex technical environments
- Deep technical expertise across electrical, mechanical/HVAC, controls/BAS, and low-voltage infrastructure systems
- Strong experience leading root cause analysis and technical problem resolution in live operational environments
- Experience exercising independent judgment and decision-making during infrastructure deployments and operational events
- Strong familiarity with BMS, EPMS, and/or DCIM platforms
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control diagrams during field execution and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-accountability deployment environments
- Compensation awareness and geographic pay structure familiarity
