Job Summary
Senior Deployed Software Engineer responsible for health of deployed imaging systems, triaging across the full stack, and representing the team in external integrations. Build and extend production services for edge‐compute devices in austere environments; diagnose issues spanning hardware, firmware, networking, and software; work with field operators and non-technical users; travel for field testing and customer integrations; collaborate across firmware, hardware, and platform teams; travel ~15% and occasionally on-site or remote support; requires Python and C++ proficiency, Linux experience, and clearance eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development with meaningful production responsibility
- Strong Python and C++ skills
- 5+ years working in Linux-based environments including bare-metal hardware
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve issues across system boundaries
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time for field testing and customer integrations
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance
