Job Summary
Develop and maintain demand forecasts across customers, products, and regions by consolidating pipeline data and market intelligence into a single plan. Lead demand reviews within the S&OP/IBP process to generate an unconstrained production plan and drive alignment across commercial, finance, and supply teams. Analyze forecast accuracy and market trends to develop scenarios for capacity planning while delivering executive dashboards and improving forecasting methodologies. This role requires 8–10 years of experience in demand planning or S&OP, proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, and a background in project-based manufacturing. Located in Bangalore, India, the Senior Demand Planner reports to the Director, Global Demand Planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Demand Planning, Business Planning, Commercial Planning, Forecasting, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning
- Experience partnering directly with Sales and Product Management organizations
- Strong understanding of demand management and consensus planning processes
- Experience with make-to-order, project-based, or engineered product businesses
- Hands-on experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, ERP, or advanced planning systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) industry
- Experience forecasting finished goods demand for energy storage, renewable energy, power infrastructure, industrial systems, or capital equipment
- Experience with Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Kinaxis, Anaplan or similar tools
- APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification
- Experience within a high-growth manufacturing environment
