Senior Demand Planner

Job Summary

Senior Demand Planner based in North Vancouver (Canada), open to hybrid remote work. Owns the rolling 12-18 month demand forecast, sets forecast accuracy targets, defines forecasting methodology, leads the monthly IBP cycle, reconciles top-down targets with bottom-up SKU forecasts, and drives cross-functional alignment with Merchandising, Supply Planning, FP&A, and eCommerce. Coaches and develops planners, builds demand curves and launch models for new products, and translates assortment plans into demand projections. Requires 5-8 years in demand/merchandise planning or related supply chain roles, strong statistical forecasting foundation, and hands-on experience with planning software (e.g., o9, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Oracle). Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, working in a retail/wholesale setting, and delivering in a fast-paced environment. Includes the opportunity to mentor peers and contribute to continuous improvement, with a focus on accurate forecasting, scenario planning, and risk management. Compensation: CAD$94,000 - CAD$123,000, based in North Vancouver with hybrid remote options; eligible to work in Canada.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-8 years experience in demand planning, merchandise planning, forecasting or relevant supply chain role
  • ability to influence and build alignment with senior stakeholders
  • strong demand forecasting experience in a retail or wholesale environment
  • foundation in statistical forecasting and data analysis with Excel proficiency
  • experience with retail KPIs
  • experience with new product forecasting and lifecycle management
  • hands-on experience with advanced planning software such as o9 Solutions, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, or Oracle
  • mentoring and developing others
  • strong analytical skills for investigating complex issues in uncertain conditions
  • excellent time management and prioritization in fast-paced environments
