Job Summary
Translate ambiguous business questions into analytical frameworks and generate actionable insights for strategic and operational decisions. Partner with Specialty Operations leaders to solve complex problems using statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, forecasting, and experimentation. Synthesize large datasets into concise recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes across CVS Specialty, prioritizing opportunities through direct collaboration with business leaders. Manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment while communicating clear findings to executive audiences.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, decision science, management consulting, business analytics, data science, operations research, or a related quantitative field
- Demonstrated experience solving complex business problems using statistical analysis and data-driven decision making
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems into actionable analytical approaches
- Experience conducting statistical analyses such as hypothesis testing, regression, forecasting, segmentation, and experimental design
- Proficiency in SQL and experience using Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling
- Ability to synthesize large datasets into concise, actionable insights for business and executive audiences
- Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience partnering directly with business leaders to prioritize opportunities and develop data-informed recommendations
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in management consulting or internal strategy and analytics organizations
- Experience supporting healthcare, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, payer, or healthcare operations
- Knowledge of operational performance metrics, process optimization, workforce analytics, or service operations
- Experience designing and evaluating business experiments (A/B testing, pilot evaluations, quasi-experimental analyses)
- Familiarity with predictive modeling techniques and machine learning concepts, with the ability to determine when these methods are appropriate for business problems
- Experience developing executive presentations and facilitating discussions with senior leadership
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Exposure to AI-enabled decision support tools, generative AI, or intelligent analytics platforms
