Job Summary
Senior Database Engineer on the Platform Engineering team, focused on designing, building, and operating cloud-native, multi-engine data platforms across relational, columnar, and NoSQL engines. Responsibilities include architecting data lakehouse platforms on AWS, implementing Medallion Architecture, developing scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT), ensuring data quality and governance, building database-as-code with Terraform and AWS CDK, integrating CI/CD for database deployments, and supporting AI/ML workflows with tools like SageMaker/Bedrock. Requires hands-on experience with AWS RDS/Aurora/DynamoDB/Redshift/Snowflake, SQL/NoSQL data modeling, and strong emphasis on scalable, production-ready data infrastructure. Location: Philadelphia area with in-person collaboration; travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in database platform engineering, data engineering, or cloud infrastructure engineering
