Job Summary
Conduct database administrative work for production systems while using and reviewing PL/SQL or SQL development to solve business problems. Provide support for QA and Development systems and identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize database systems. Manage the full life cycle of systems development from requirement gathering through development, testing, and on-going support. Handle multiple simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision, including on-call support outside regular business hours, nights, and weekends. Requires Oracle 19c experience and Unix/Linux environment proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience
- At least 5+ years of experience developing database applications in PL/SQL-Triggers, Packages, Functions, Procedures, SQL, Analytical functions, Oracle Collection, Object Types knowledge and experience
- Must have experience working in Unix/Linux environment
- Must have Oracle 19c experience
- Willing to take on-call rotation and occasional weekend work
Desired Qualifications
- RAC experience is a plus
- Some Shell scripting and Perl experience
- Frontend application development using Oracle Apex is a plus
- SQL Query tuning and understanding of query plan management
- Experience with partition management and parallel processing
- Experience with Oracle VPD is a plus
- Familiarity with GIT and Bitbucket is a plus
