Job Summary
Senior Database Administrator responsible for entire SQL infrastructure across development to production environments; manage MSSQL Server and MySQL databases; design relational data warehouse and operational data stores to support BI; knowledge of programming languages and report writer software; collaborate on projects with strong communication and planning; model database flows using Visio.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of SQL database development experience (MSSQL Server 2008/2012/2016 & MySQL)
- Bachelor’s degree and/or work-related experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology related field
- Knowledge of relational database, data warehouse, and operational data store design that lead to support business intelligence solutions/applications
- Any programming language is a huge plus
- Any report writer software is a huge plus
- Strong interpersonal skills – demonstrate a positive attitude, able to work effectively as part of a project team and foster team collaboration
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Planning and time management are essential
- Ability to model database flows using Visio
